Hmmmschoolers are sometimes accused of being frighteningly creative. Take, for instance, a certain eight year old boy's Halloween costume. He came up with this on his own (with help from mom at the sewing machine).
Boy...
Girl...
Um...both?
Hmmschooler Iggy was all about the "social experiment" aspect of his half-boy/half -girl costume. How will people react?
His social experiment went well, I would say. After all, he came home from trick or treating with a giant bag of candy. And that has to count for something. ;)

That is WILD, MamaTea! I held my hand up to the screen and it was totally disconcerting. Boy or Girl? Awesome social experiment! I am so impressed. Your son is awesome.
ReplyDeleteIt was so very hard to tell, Helena. I asked him if he thought people would think he was a boy dressed as a girl or a girl dressed as a boy. He wasn't sure. :) He's right at that age where he probably could have pulled either off. A few more years and it would have been harder. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat costume - I thought of Victor/Victoria right away. I think he pulled it off just well as, if not better than, Julie Andrews!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite scary how much he looks like you as a girl. I hope that's OK, he's quite adorable that way! As is his mama.
ReplyDeleteI gotta show these pics to my dad--he's gonna freak when he sees how you guys pulled that off!
Very cool idea.
ReplyDeleteUn-believable! May he hold on to that wonderful imagination all of his life. Great, great job of the costume, Mama Tea!
ReplyDeleteVery cool costume!
ReplyDeleteoh goodness, that is so very creative! A bit freaky too!
