Yesterday, after shoveling and plowing out from a snowstorm, we got to work building an igloo.

As we were working on this igloo, Hmmmschooler Ooky (who will be 8 on Easter) said, "So this is how the embryos build their homes?"

"The...embryos?" I asked.

"Yeah!" he said. "You know, with snow?"

"Oh," I said, stifling a giggle. "You mean the Eskimos."

"Oh, yeah," he said, without skipping a beat. "The Eskimos. They're pretty smart."

Embryo....eskimo....po-tay-toe, po-tah-toe....
